General information:
Degratan AN is an anionic surfactant with a strong degreasing effect.

Properties:
Degratan AN has excellent wetting properties, facilitates and accelerates the soaking of leather and other bathing processes of leather tanning. It allows to achieve low fat content (in the wet-blue phase) in leathers with high fat content (pig, sheep and fur skins). It does not have a significant effect on the hydrophobization of leather. In leather processing processes (soaking, liming, deliming with pickling, pickling) it causes the opening of their fibrous structure and accelerates the penetration of tanning agents into the leather. Used for soaking leather, it significantly accelerates the process, simultaneously causing their degreasing. It is characterized by low foaming in baths. It is easily biodegradable.

Application:
The amount of Degratan AN used should be selected according to the type of raw material being processed and the technological process. In the soaking, liming and deliming processes, 0.4-1.2% is used, and after deliming and pickling or pickling, 1.2-2.2% Degratan AN is used in relation to the appropriate weight of the hides.
